For FireRock, 2016 was the year for showhouses. In addition to the Christopher Showhouse project, early 2016 debuted the inaugural Southeastern Designer Showhouse & Gardens presented by Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles magazine. The spring showhome included 25,000 square foot of living space and 6,000 square foot of outdoor space in Buckhead’s Tuxedo Park neighborhood, and was opened to the public in early April.
The English manor-style house was designed by architect Dietrich T. Logan of Logan Design Group International and built by Bill Preston, president of Atlanta-based Paradise Builders Inc. A portion of the proceeds from open house tours benefited Safe Kids Georgia, the safety initiative of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA).
We were honored to have FireRock Pavers selected for the pool deck, terraces and guesthouse lower level. Oyster color pavers were used around the pool, and the remaining exterior and interior spaces used a mixture of clay and ore color pavers.
